Salwa Iqbal

Salwa Iqbal is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto’s Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations. Her research explores the suffragette movement in early 20th century Egypt and the intersection between state and citizenship through the literary works of notable feminists at the time. Salwa is a writer, editor, and designer whose work focuses on equity and justice in diverse communities.
