Sam Montgomery is the Project Lead, Student Engagement and Strategic Events at the Institute for Gender and the Economy at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. She holds a PhD in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan and teaches courses on gender, organizational behaviour, and labour relations at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Prior to joining GATE, Sam spent more than a decade practically applying her academic background and feminist social science lens as a union representative for workers across the US and Canada. She is excited to share lessons from the field and inspire positive social change in more workplaces.
